As the DAO Legal Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our decentralized organization remains compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices. Your primary responsibility will be to provide legal guidance and support to the DAO community and its various stakeholders, helping to navigate the complex and evolving legal landscape surrounding decentralized governance, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology. Your ultimate goal is to minimize legal risks, protect the interests of the organization and its members, and promote the long-term success and sustainability of the DAO.

Your Responsibilities

• Legal Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices related to decentralized organizations, cryptocurrencies, intellectual property, data privacy, and other relevant areas.
• Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice and guidance to the DAO community, core team members, and other stakeholders on matters related to governance, contracts, partnerships, disputes, and other legal issues that may arise.
• Policy Development: Collaborate with the DAO Governance Lead and other internal teams to develop and implement clear, comprehensive policies and guidelines that support the organization's objectives, promote fair decision-making, and comply with legal requirements.
• Contract Review & Negotiation: Review, draft, and negotiate various legal agreements, including partnership contracts, service agreements, and intellectual property licenses, ensuring they are in the best interests of the DAO and its members.
• Dispute Resolution: Assist in addressing legal disputes and conflicts that may arise within the DAO community or with external parties, and provide guidance on the appropriate resolution strategies.
• Regulatory Engagement: Maintain open communication with relevant regulatory bodies, and advocate for the DAO's interests in shaping the legal and regulatory landscape for decentralized organizations and blockchain technology.
• Legal Education & Training: Develop and provide legal education and training materials to the DAO community, ensuring that members are aware of their rights, responsibilities, and potential legal risks.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate their impact on the DAO and its members.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on the DAO's legal compliance, risk management, and other relevant legal activities, and present findings to the community and relevant stakeholders.
• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest legal developments, trends, and best practices related to decentralized organizations, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology to ensure the DAO remains at the forefront of the industry.

As the DAO Onboarding Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that new members of our decentralized organization have a seamless and positive onboarding experience. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive onboarding processes, educational materials, and support systems that help new community members understand the DAO's objectives, governance model, and culture. Your ultimate goal is to empower new members to actively participate in and contribute to the DAO's growth and success.

Your Responsibilities

• Onboarding Process Development: Design, develop, and implement a structured and efficient onboarding process for new DAO members, ensuring they receive the necessary information, resources, and support to become active participants in the community.
• Educational Material Creation: Develop clear, concise, and engaging educational materials (e.g., guides, tutorials, videos) that explain the DAO's governance structure, token economics, decision-making processes, and other relevant aspects.
• Support System Establishment: Create and maintain a support system (e.g., help desk, FAQ, chatbot) to assist new members with their questions, concerns, and technical issues related to the DAO and its ecosystem.
• Mentorship Program Coordination: Develop and manage a mentorship program that pairs experienced community members with new members to provide guidance and support during the onboarding process.
• Collaboration with Governance & Other Teams: Work closely with the DAO Governance Lead and other internal teams to ensure that the onboarding process aligns with the organization's governance structures, strategic objectives, and community culture.
• Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Actively solicit feedback from new members and existing community members to identify areas for improvement in the onboarding process, and implement necessary changes to enhance the overall experience.
• Community Engagement: Foster a welcoming and inclusive community culture by organizing events, workshops, and online forums that encourage new member engagement and facilitate relationship-building.
• Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establish and track key performance metrics related to onboarding success, member engagement, and retention, and provide regular reports to the DAO community and relevant stakeholders.
• Outreach & Partnerships: Collaborate with external organizations, influencers, and partners to promote the DAO and attract new members with diverse skills and perspectives.
• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in decentralized organization onboarding and community management to ensure the DAO remains at the forefront of the industry.

As a DAO Governance Lead, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the decentralized governance of our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the DAO's governance processes, aligning the interests of all stakeholders, and continuously improving the decision-making structures. Your ultimate goal is to create a transparent, fair, and efficient governance system that supports the long-term growth and success of our organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Governance Oversight: Oversee the DAO's governance processes, ensuring they are transparent, inclusive, and effective. Monitor ongoing proposals and voting activities to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with the DAO's various stakeholders, including token holders, core team members, and external collaborators, to foster active participation in governance decisions and build consensus around strategic priorities.
• Governance Structure: Regularly assess and refine the governance structures, processes, and tools to ensure they remain effective and adapt to the organization's evolving needs.
• Policy Development: Collaborate with internal and external experts to develop clear, comprehensive policies and guidelines that support the DAO's objectives and promote fair decision-making.
• Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and disputes arising within the DAO community by facilitating open, constructive dialogue and mediating between conflicting parties to reach a consensus.

You will be working closely with the Coordination Steward & Coordination Squad Leads, taking an active part in a variety of projects, and assuming ownership of all administrative responsibilities.

You will help the Coordination working group organize a virtual community of +9000 researchers, investors, developers, and longevity enthusiasts. Daily, you will provide administrative support to  multiple project squads which will include helping industry experts make decisions and execute on calls, frameworks and project plans you design and help implement.

• Facilitating operational tasks across the DAO
• You help to organize and host community-building events
• Support contributors by preparing essentials like meeting materials, agendas, notes, and memos of key meetings; follow-ups and track action items

• Discord is a stream of consciousness in the community
• Discourse captures relevant ideas and then formalizes them into ideas and proposals
• Airtable to be used as a project management tool as well as CRM

What you bring

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role in a startup environment
