Education:

Skills and experience:

  • Must possess exquisite attention to detail, ability to routinely follow standard operating procedures, and desire to improve operating procedures

Job Description

SomaLogic is seeking a dynamic, client-focused Associate Account Director for our Life Sciences Sales team with revenue responsibility for our pharma, biotech, academic, and government sales channels. This role will be a key player in developing and executing sales plans for SomaLogic’s innovative platform at all levels of the client organization – from initiation through ongoing relationship management. The HRIS & Compliance Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for our HRIS (Exponent HR), supports HR compliance matters, and organizes and maintains HR policies and processes.

Responsibilities:

HRIS

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for our HRIS (Exponent HR) and actively provide support including researching and resolving problems, troubleshooting unexpected results or process
  • Provide system support related to updating or adding new fields in system, manager access setup, annual processes (merit, bonus, open enrollment)
  • Assess, plan and launch user enhancements (manager self service)
  • Audit HR system transactions, identifying data integrity issues and organizing audit procedures or additional user training to correct.
  • Effectively communicate and respond to general HRIS inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain processes that ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR processes & data.
  • Gather, coordinate, and create data collection methods and process flows to ensure accurate, complete and timely submission of all required internal and external reports.
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools; develop standard reports for any ongoing needs.
  • Responsible for creating dashboards, reports and documents on HR related data for presentation to executive management level derived from systems ensuring HR systems are optimized to provide this date on demand.
  • Monitor, test and responsible for data loads into the HRIS systems when needed.
  • Create end-user documentation for HR teams, managers and employees and provide support for end-users.

Compliance

  • Process Company related administrative forms, reports, processes, and audits in compliance with relevant local, state, federal and provincial regulations for Benefits, HR Recordkeeping and audits and compliance
  • Provide support for SOX and audit controls related to HR security, processes, and system configuration
  • Oversee the maintenance of records, facilitating timely and accurate responses to regulatory inquiries and management.
  • On-going education to remain abreast of federal and state regulatory requirements to ensure company compliance.
  • Support of initiatives and other projects as needed, to include restructurings and separation agreement responsibilities.
  • Compliance reporting for EEO-1, Board Reporting, Turnover, Annual 401(k) audit, Workers' Compensation Audit, etc.

Policies & Process

  • Maintain, update and implement HR policies and procedures, manages our policies database to ensure it is up to date.
  • Ensures policies are in line with all legal requirements including SOX controls.
  • Review and analyze existing HR processes and workflows; collaborate with process owners and subject matter experts to document workflows and process requirements
  • Create and assist in maintaining a repository of process flows

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business or related area
  • 4 years’ experience with HR systems analysis and configurations

  • Work on highly complex release cycles that require in-depth understanding of project and application inter-dependencies and regulatory requirements.
