Dr. Kubesh has always been driven by a desire to help people feel better and understand their bodies. She learned a lot about physiology and disease during her traditional training in Internal Medicine from the University of Washington, but over time, she felt that focusing on disease management (or simply intervening at the very end) was too narrow of a focus for her. Her desire to help people feel better and understand what’s going on with their bodies led her to root cause medicine. She found by addressing the dysfunction underneath the symptoms, she was able to truly make people feel better.
